Dear Valued Customer, 

A lot has changed since our last rate update in late 2023. Over the past year, we’ve continued to invest in our network, provide faster internet speeds, and work hard to manage costs for our customers. 

We always enjoy sharing good news, but from time to time we must also share less enjoyable updates. The purpose of this letter is to inform you about an upcoming change in programming rates. 

When and What? 

Quality Cablevision will be adjusting programming rates effective November 1, 2025. Package pricing will be: 

• Super Basic Digital – $114.95 per month 

• Expanded Digital – $124.95 per month 

These prices include the Local Broadcast Fee, which is now $39.00 per month charged by the South Bend TV stations.

Why? 

Each year, Quality Cablevision faces higher rates from both national cable channels and local broadcasters.  

In fact, local channels are the fastest-rising cost in television. Over the past 2 years alone, the local channels have increased their costs upwards of 25% per subscriber. Sports programming also remains one of the largest drivers of costs, with networks like ESPN and Fox Sports paying billions for broadcast rights and passing those expenses directly to cable companies and their viewers 

Isn’t this the same story? 

Unfortunately, yes. Broadcasters have consistently raised their rates year after year. In 2024, costs increased by nearly 5%, and in 2025 they have climbed another 6% with no signs of slowing down. 

Will my cable modem rates change? 

No. There will be no changes to cable modem rates.
